Portuguese bean soup was introduced to Hawai'i during the plantation era in 1879 by the Portuguese. It has since become a staple that can be found all over Hawai'i and is a go-to for comfort and warmth on a cold day.
We are excited to recreate it with locally raised BC smoked hamhocks. Smokey, hearty filled with beans, potato, cabbage, celery, onion, carrot. Will definitely warm you from the inside!
It will come frozen so that you can have it on hand whenever you need a warm meal.
32 oz of soup is generally two portions. We highly recommend having this with pan de sal or any kind of bread!
