Plate lunches are a staple in Hawai'i and a great example of the variety of cultures that influence the food. This is our take on the plate lunch with some of our favourite dishes we grew up eating. 

This plate lunch features the following: 

Kālua Pork - slow cooked pork wrapped in banana leaves seasoned Hawaiian sea salt 

1 Chicken Lau lau - bone in chicken thigh steamed in collards 

1 scoop rice with hanai-made furikake

1 scoop mac salad


Pickled ginger
